Preparing for Your First Medical Massage Appointment

To provide you with the highest quality of clinical care at our East Meadow location, please review our billing and appointment policies below.

1. Insurance, Deductibles, & Network Status

  • Out-of-Network: We are an Out-of-Network provider. Clients are responsible for any deductibles or co-insurance required by their specific plan.
  • Verification: Requirements vary by plan. Please call your insurance provider to verify your benefits for CPT Code 97124.
  • Prescription Management: If your plan requires a prescription, it is your responsibility to track the expiration date. We cannot honor appointments if a required prescription has expired.

2. Billing Units & Extended Sessions

We book sessions in one-hour blocks. Insurance companies typically reimburse based on a specific number of 15-minute units per visit.

  • Extended Time: If you wish to receive treatment for longer than your insurance plan authorizes, you are welcome to extend your session.
  • Out-of-Pocket Costs: Any time or units not covered by your insurance provider will be the client's financial responsibility.
  • Time of Service Discount: For any portions of your treatment not covered by insurance, we offer a discounted rate for payments made in full at the time of service.

3. Benefit Limits & Responsibility

  • Visit Tracking: It is the client’s responsibility to monitor their visit count. If you exceed your plan’s annual allotment or become ineligible for coverage, you are responsible for the full payment of the session.

4. Identity Verification

For the safety and security of our practice, a valid photo ID is required for all first-time clients. You will be prompted to upload this during your digital intake.

5. Booking Your Session

We use MassageBook for all scheduling.

  1. Click the booking button below.
  2. Select your preferred date and time.
  3. Confirm via Email: You will receive a confirmation email from MassageBook. You must follow the instructions in that email to finalize your appointment.

6. FSA & HSA Accepted

We accept Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) for your convenience.
